The Russian President congratulated the RA President and Prime Minister on the coming New Year

The President of the Russian Federation congratulated the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan and the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, the Kremlin press service reported.

It was noted that the constant communication between the leaders of the two states in the past year fully confirmed the allied nature of the Russian-Armenian relations, based on the good traditions of friendship, cultural and spiritual closeness. Vladimir Putin expressed hope that joint efforts will ensure the further dynamic development of bilateral cooperation, as well as partnership in various fields, within the EEU, CSTO, CIS and other multilateral structures. “It is in the fundamental interests of the brotherly peoples of Russia and Armenia, and is moving in the direction of strengthening security and stability in the Transcaucasian region,” he said.
