SHAMSHYAN.com:Mediamax reports that the funeral of the former head of the RA NSS State Protection Service, Major General Grigory Hayrapetov will take place on January 4, in St. Hovhannes Church in Kondi, from 18:00. Hayrapetov died on January 1 in his apartment in Yerevan’s “Yeraz” district. According to Armlur.am, he felt bad that morning, an ambulance was called, but not long after the ambulance left, Hayrapetov died.

According to the initial version, he had a heart attack.

Grigory Hayrapetov was the Chief Security Officer of the Armenian leadership in 1991-2018. He ensured the security of the three presidents of Armenia and the current prime minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Hayrapetov was relieved of the post of head of the State Security Service of the National Security Service in October 2019.

It should be noted that Grigory Hayrapetov was fired when Artsakh’s hero Vitaly Balasanyan gave a press conference and spoke about the elevator talks between Pashinyan and Aliyev in Dushanbe, which was also attended by Grigory Hayrapetov.
